Walker County, GA – The Walker County Sheriff’s Office has officially expanded its ranks with the addition of five newly sworn-in deputies who graduated from the police academy last week.
After completing five months of rigorous law enforcement training, the new deputies are now on duty, ready to serve the community. Several of the graduates began their first shift on Sunday, while the remaining deputies started Monday.
Sheriff Steve Wilson welcomed the new hires, emphasizing the importance of their role in ensuring public safety across the county.
The department continues to prioritize officer training and recruitment as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen public service and responsiveness across Walker County.
