Chickamauga, GA — The Walker County Animal Shelter is extending its hours through Wednesday as part of the national “Empty the Shelter” event, aimed at finding loving homes for more animals.
The shelter, located at 5488 North Marble Top Road in Chickamauga, will remain open until 7:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, and Wednesday to accommodate potential adopters.
Thanks to the support of the BISSELL Pet Foundation, adoption fees for cats and dogs over four months old will be waived. Kittens and puppies will be available for adoption at a reduced fee of just $25.
