WALKER COUNTY, GA — All Walker County Government offices will close early on Friday, May 16, to allow employees to attend an appreciation event honoring their service.
County officials announced that departments including the landfill, planning, tag and tax offices, tax assessor, Clerk of Courts, and Probate Court will close at 11:00 a.m. that day.
The early closure is part of an effort to recognize and thank the county’s workforce for their dedication and contributions throughout the year. Regular business hours will resume on the next scheduled workday.
