Walker County officials have confirmed that a fire truck was destroyed in a wreck last week.
Joe Legge, Director of Public Relations for the county, said the process to replace the vehicle is already underway.
When asked whether any employees were involved or injured in the incident, Legge declined to provide details, stating that the county does not comment on personnel matters.
