In the wake of Tuesday’s severe flooding, Catoosa County has quickly rallied to support affected families through a fast-moving community relief campaign. Spearheaded by Communities In Schools of Catoosa County, the effort aims to collect urgently needed supplies to aid local residents recovering from flood-related damage and displacement.
Donations are being accepted immediately at several drop-off locations across the county. Organizers stress that contributions of basic necessities will make a crucial difference for families working to clean up and rebuild.
Items Needed Include:
Cleaning Supplies: Damp aid, cleaning wipes
Personal Care: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant
Baby Needs: Diapers and wipes
Household Goods: Paper towels, paper plates, plasticware
Clothing Essentials: New underwear and socks (all sizes)
Food: Non-perishable items and snacks
Other Supplies: Trash bags, laundry detergent, storage totes with lids
Drop-Off Locations and Hours:
Cloud Springs Elementary: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM
The Colonnade: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Brainerd North Georgia:
Thursday: 10:30 AM – 4 PM
Friday: 9 AM – 4 PM & 6 – 8 PM
Sunday: 9 AM – 12 PM
