CATOOSA COUNTY, GA – In the wake of recent flooding, Communities In Schools of Catoosa County is organizing a countywide relief effort to support those affected. The organization is seeking urgent donations to help families recover from the disaster.
Items needed include cleaning supplies, Damp Aid, cleaning wipes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, baby wipes, diapers, paper towels, new underwear and socks for both adults and children, non-perishable food and snacks, paper plates, plasticware, trash bags, laundry detergent, and storage totes with lids.
Donations can be dropped off at Cloud Springs Elementary from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., The Colonnade from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Brainerd North Georgia (hours to be determined).
Community members are encouraged to contribute as soon as possible to ensure timely assistance reaches flood victims.
