The LaFayette High School Lady Ramblers softball team capped off a perfect region slate Monday night with a commanding 9–1 victory over Ridgeland, completing their region schedule undefeated.
Behind dominant pitching and timely offense, LaFayette left no doubt. Marlie Day and Addi Hogue combined for 10 strikeouts in the circle, allowing just one walk and keeping Ridgeland off balance all evening.
At the plate, Emma House and Emma Parker each contributed a hit, while House and Harley Perkins crossed the plate twice to help power the Ramblers’ offense.
The win not only secures a flawless region record for LaFayette but also builds momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
The Lady Ramblers will be back in action on Wednesday as they host Gordon Lee. Varsity takes the field at 5:30 p.m., with the JV game to follow.
