The LaFayette High School volleyball team continued its impressive run this season, improving to 31-9 with a pair of dominant 2-0 victories over Trion and Unity Christian.
The Lady Ramblers showcased a well-balanced attack at the net, led by Makenna Clarke with 14 kills. Gracie Rambo followed closely with 13, and Addy Cagle added 12 in the sweep. Defensively, Kaylee Scoggins anchored the back row with 15 digs, while Caydence Tinklepaugh and Anabelle Penland each chipped in 11 digs to help secure the wins.
LaFayette now turns its focus to a special evening at home on Thursday, when the team will host Darlington at 5:00 p.m. and Coahulla Creek at 7:00 p.m. in a doubleheader. The school will celebrate its senior players in a ceremony following the 6:00 p.m. match, honoring their dedication and contributions to the program.
Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Lady Ramblers as they close out the regular season and honor the leadership of their senior class.
