The Rambler cross-country team traveled to Heritage High School on Tuesday to compete in the final event of the North Georgia Cross-Country League Series, closing out a competitive regular season with strong performances across the board.
The boys’ team placed 9th overall out of a crowded field of 23 teams. Leading the charge for the Ramblers were Elijah Decker, Cayden Decker, and Oscar Lopez. Elijah Decker capped off an impressive season by finishing 7th overall in the race series standings, a testament to his consistency and endurance throughout the league events.
On the girls’ side, the Lady Ramblers finished 17th in the team standings. Addie Hudson, Lilly Owen, and Analeigh Biggs were the top performers, pacing the team with solid efforts in a deep and competitive field.
The team now turns its focus to the upcoming sectional meet, set for Saturday, November 1st, once again at Heritage.
