Rock Spring, GA — Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) has announced that Timothy Wall, a student in the Commercial Truck Driving Class A program, has been selected as the Fall 2025 recipient of the Roper Corporation Scholarship.
Wall attends classes at GNTC’s Walker County Campus in Rock Spring.
“We are so thankful for this generous investment from Roper Corporation,” said Dr. Heidi Popham, GNTC president. “It is a testament to Roper’s ongoing commitment to elevate the workforce in northwest Georgia by supporting outstanding Roper employees enrolled at Georgia Northwestern Technical College.”
Established in 2024, the Roper Corporation Scholarship provides financial assistance to GNTC students who are also employed by Roper Corporation.
A wholly owned subsidiary of GE Appliances, a Haier company, Roper Corporation operates a major manufacturing facility in LaFayette that produces freestanding ranges, wall ovens, and both electric and gas cooktops.
