The LaFayette Lady Rambler Flag Football team hit the road Tuesday night for a pair of games in Rome, coming home with a split decision.

In Game 1, the Lady Ramblers battled hard to keep things close, but Rome managed to pull away late to take the win. LaFayette bounced back strong in Game 2, posting a 21–0 shutout victory over Cedartown. The Lady Ramblers scored once in the first quarter and twice in the third to secure the win.

Top performers for the night included Sadie Gill with 10 total tackles, Parker Lawrence with two touchdown receptions, Scout Taylor with eight tackles and one interception, Paisley Johnson with one touchdown, and quarterback Prezleigh Baty, who tallied 297 total yards and four touchdowns across both games.

The Lady Ramblers were back in action Thursday for their region openers against Dawson County and Dalton Academy. Once again, they split the night—falling to Dawson County in Game 1 but rebounding with a win over Dalton Academy.

LaFayette now sits at 1–1 in region play and will return home Tuesday for a non-region varsity and JV doubleheader against Ringgold.
