The LaFayette Downtown Development Authority is inviting proposals from retail entrepreneurs and organizations to sublease the upstairs level of the Historic Mars Theater in downtown LaFayette. The available space includes approximately 1,800 square feet with a concrete floor, along with two access points — a rear entrance that will be ADA compliant and a street-side entrance from Chattanooga Street via stairs.
The DDA is specifically seeking businesses that are art-related and community-oriented, aiming to bring a unique retail experience that also enhances the growing arts and cultural atmosphere in the city’s downtown district.
Officials say the goal is to find a tenant that will attract residents and visitors, contribute to local cultural opportunities, and support ongoing revitalization efforts.
