eRead Kids Ebook Collection Moving to New App on December 3

SHARE NOW

The Georgia Public Library Service has announced an upcoming change for families who use the eRead Kids digital collection. Beginning December 3, the eRead Kids catalog of children’s ebooks and audiobooks will transition from the Boundless app to The Palace Project app.

According to the update, patrons will no longer be able to check out new eRead Kids materials through the Boundless app starting November 18. However, readers will still retain access to any items they previously checked out in Boundless until those loans expire.

All new checkouts will be available exclusively through The Palace Project app beginning December 3. Library officials noted that any existing item holds in Boundless will not transfer to the new platform, and users may need to place new holds once the transition is complete.

The Georgia Public Library Service apologized for the inconvenience and encouraged families to download The Palace Project app ahead of the change.
