The City of LaFayette will begin its annual leaf pickup on Monday, December 1, with the leaf truck starting its first round in Ward 1. Crews will move through each ward in numerical order until the first pass is complete.
A second and final pickup cycle will begin roughly two weeks later, following the same ward-by-ward progression.
City officials remind residents to place leaves in loose piles rather than bags and to keep them separate from limbs, trash, and other debris. Proper placement helps ensure faster and more efficient collection as crews make their rounds.
