A Georgia man is facing felony charges after investigators say he sent nude photos and videos to an undercover law enforcement agent posing as a minor on Snapchat.
According to an arrest report, an undercover agent in Chattanooga began communicating on January 6 with a Snapchat user using the name “rcm1413.” Authorities say the agent represented themselves as a 16-year-old during the conversation.
The report states the user told the undercover agent he wanted to meet in Chattanooga and sent a selfie of himself. Investigators allege the user, later identified as Roy Clint Madaris, then began sending nude photos and videos of himself through the messaging app.
Authorities say Madaris also requested explicit videos of the person he believed to be a minor.
Madaris was arrested Wednesday and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and solicitation of a minor. No further details were released, and the case remains pending in court.
