Walker County Government offices, including Walker County Transit, will open at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27, due to extremely cold weather conditions in the forecast.
In addition, all courts in Walker County will operate on a delayed schedule, also opening at 11:00 a.m. Officials said the delayed start is intended to ensure the safety of employees and the public as cold temperatures impact travel conditions.
