A rezoning request scheduled for the Walker County Board of Commissioners’ February 5 meeting will be postponed at the applicant’s request.
Joan Brown had requested to rezone property at 6280 Hwy 151 (Tax Map & Parcel 0-516-005) from A-1 (Agricultural) to CN (Neighborhood Commercial). While the public hearing will proceed as planned tomorrow, the Board’s decision on the matter has been delayed.
The Board will now take action on the rezoning request at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 5.
Residents and interested parties may still attend the public hearing to provide input.
