In junior varsity competition, Mike Hardinger added to the strong showing with an 8-1 singles victory.
The Lady Ramblers secured a hard-fought 3-2 win over the Indians. LaFayette swept the singles matches behind wins from Lanie Hamilton, Parker Tudor and Coralee Hise.
Although the Lady Ramblers fell in both doubles matches, Head Coach Ensley praised the determination of Hazel Scoggins and Makenna Clarke, who rallied from a 4-7 deficit before narrowly dropping a 9-7 decision.
In JV action, Addi Hogue and Celeste Cazares teamed up for an 8-3 victory.
Weather permitting, LaFayette High School returns to the court today against Armuchee.
