School officials announced that families wishing to apply for WCS Pre-K must complete the Pre-K lottery application for the upcoming academic year. District leaders welcomed families and encouraged parents and guardians to review the available Pre-K frequently asked questions and procedures before submitting an application.
Enrollment services are handled through the district’s Enrollment Office, located inside the Advancing Education Building at 925 Osburn Road in Chickamauga. School officials noted that families needing an affidavit of residency must complete enrollment in person at the Enrollment Office.
Walker County Schools is offering online enrollment forms for families. Parents are reminded that if an application is submitted after 2 p.m., they should contact the enrollment office the following morning before sending their child to school.
The Enrollment Office operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., with appointments also available by calling 706-375-7947.
Families are encouraged to complete the online enrollment form as soon as possible to ensure their child is considered for the 2026–2027 Pre-K lottery.
