The community is invited to come together next weekend to support a local family recovering from a devastating house fire.
The LaFayette Elks Lodge #2018 will host a St. Patrick’s Day Benefit Fundraiser for the Millican family on Saturday, March 14, at the lodge in LaFayette.
Organizers say the event will help the family cover medical expenses and travel costs for doctor appointments following the fire. All proceeds raised during the fundraiser will go directly to the Millican family.
The event will begin at 5 p.m., with a spaghetti dinner served starting at 6 p.m. Meal tickets will be available the night of the event for $10 per plate, which includes a meal and a soda.
In addition to the dinner, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction featuring several gift baskets, with proceeds also benefiting the family.
The event is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend, invite friends, and help make a difference for the Millican family.
