The City of LaFayette Mayor and Council will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
During the meeting, officials are expected to review several items of new business. Topics on the agenda include discussion of upcoming city events, plans for an Earth Day community cleanup, and matters involving global payments processing and an online utilities contract.
Council members will also consider an agreement related to the LaFayette Farmers Market and discuss sludge dewatering operations connected to the city’s wastewater system.
Following the new business portion of the meeting, time will be set aside for comments from council members, the city clerk, the city attorney or city manager, and the mayor.
City leaders may also enter executive session to discuss matters involving real estate, litigation, or personnel before adjournment.
LaFayette City Council meetings are open to the public. Residents are encouraged to attend and stay informed about local government decisions affecting the community.
