June Jam Will Not Return to Fort Payne This Year

The June Jam will not be returning to Fort Payne this year, according to organizers.

The Jam, an all-star country music festival that originally highlighted the hometown of the legendary country group Alabama, had been rebooted in 2023 after years of absence. Organizers paused the event last year when another festival moved closer to Fort Payne during the same time frame and initially promised a return in 2026.

However, organizers have now confirmed the festival will not take place this year.

Despite the cancellation, fan appreciation week will still move forward, with additional details expected to be announced soon.

June Jam has long been associated with Alabama’s legacy in country music, as the group produced 27 number-one country hits during the 1980s and 1990s and helped put Fort Payne on the map as a destination for country music fans.
