A standout performance on Tuesday night at Coahulla Creek has cemented LaFayette High School’s Porter Sentell in the record books.
Sentell broke his own school record in the 200-meter dash, clocking an impressive time of 21.75 seconds. The mark not only sets a new standard for LaFayette High School but also positions him as the fastest sprinter in his classification across the state of Georgia.
LaFayette High School Head Track Coach Noah Collins praised Sentell’s achievement following the meet.
“Porter is officially the fastest sprinter in school history—a remarkable achievement and a testament to his hard work and dedication,” Collins said.
The record-breaking run adds to an already strong season for Sentell and highlights his continued dominance on the track.
