Voters in Walker County can begin casting ballots later this month ahead of the May 19 General Primary.
Early voting is scheduled to run from April 27 through May 15. Residents can vote Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Walker County Elections Office, located on South Main Street in LaFayette, as well as at Rossville City Hall.
Additional early voting locations will be open from May 9 through May 15, including the Chickamauga Civic Center and Fairyland/Lookout Mountain City Hall.
All early voting sites will offer extended hours on May 12, operating from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Election officials encourage voters to take advantage of early voting opportunities to avoid potential lines on Election Day.
