Per Walker County Code Chapter 22-109, a time limit of 12 minutes shall be imposed upon the total number of people who wish to speak in
favor of a planning/zoning request, including the initial presentation of the petitioner. Thereafter, a time limit of 12 minutes shall be
imposed on the total number of people who wish to speak in opposition of the zoning request. Each side may allocate its 12 minute period
among any number of speakers, provided that the presentation by all speakers for each side shall not exceed 12 minutes per side.

13.2. Renard Lanier: Requests a rezone from A-1 (Agricultural) to C-1 (Commercial) for
property located at 3066 S. Hwy 27, LaFayette, GA. 30728. Tax map and parcel number
0-482-055. (Planning Commission recommended this rezone be DENIED as submitted)

Funding under the FY2025 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant (JAG) Program

$201,570.00 for the Replacement of the roof at the Walker County Department of
Family & Children’s Services (DFACS). (Funding through DFACS Escrow Account)
18.3. Resolution R-044-26 to Close a Portion of Concord Road in East Armuchee, Georgia
18.4. Resolution R-45-26 to Set Fees for Spay & Neuter Ordinance Approved at the May 2026
Meeting
18.5. Resolution R-46-26 to Ratify and Approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
between Walker County and Aleksandra Jagiella-Litts for Legal Services dealing with
Magistrate and Animal Control Issues.
18.6. Approval to Execute Agreement between See Rock City, Inc and Walker County in
regards to Walker County Tax Parcel 0062-041.
18.7. Purchase Order 2026-00001797 in the amount of $62,942.00 to Prater Ford Inc. for the
purchase of two (2) Ford Rangers for Fire & Rescue.
18.8. Purchase Order 2026-00001902 in the amount of $27,602.40 to CivicPlus for the
Meeting & Agenda Electronic and NextRequest Platforms Annual renewal.
