Feeding LaFayette Food Ministries is asking for community support as the organization continues its efforts to provide food and other necessities to local residents.
With the end of the month approaching and the ministry serving a growing number of people, organizers say there are several ways residents can lend a hand.
The ministry is currently seeking prepared food donations, non-perishable food items and hygiene products. Pet food and other needed supplies can also be donated to help meet the needs of individuals and families in the community.
Those who would rather give their time can volunteer to help serve food, while monetary donations are also being accepted to support the ministry’s work.
“As the end of the month draws closer and the ministry begins serving more members of the community, we’d like to ask for your assistance,” organizers said. “There are many ways to get involved, so reach out to find what could work for you.”
Feeding LaFayette Food Ministries was established in 2026 with a mission of helping provide food and assistance to those in need in the LaFayette area.
