The Bank of LaFayette will host a community shredding event on Friday, October 23, giving area residents an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted documents and paperwork.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the bank’s main branch in LaFayette.
A shredding truck will be stationed in the rear parking area, where participants can bring documents for secure disposal.
There will be a limit of five boxes of documents per visit.
Shredding events provide residents with a convenient way to dispose of old financial records, personal paperwork, and other documents containing sensitive information, helping reduce the risk of identity theft.
Residents planning to participate are encouraged to gather their unwanted paperwork ahead of time and visit the bank during the designated hours.
The Bank of LaFayette’s Shred Day is scheduled for Friday, October 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the main branch, with the shredding truck located in the rear parking area.
