Walker County Schools Will Open On A 2-Hour Delay Wednesday, March 5, 2025

Based on the current forecast of damaging straight-line wind gusts affecting our area over the next 12 hours, Walker County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. This will allow for additional time and daylight to assess any potential damages tomorrow morning and allow wind gusts to drop below 35 mph before the buses roll with students on board.
