• Split Shift Position
o Primary hours: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
o Work Schedule: 2 days on / 2 days off, with every other weekend as 3 days on / 3 days off
o Flexibility is required—split shift personnel may be asked to cover other shifts due to sickness or vacation.
Pay & Advancement:• Starting Pay: $16.00/hour
• Raises:
o $0.50 increase after 6 weeks
o Additional $0.50 after another 6 weeks
o Final $1.00 raise around 1-year anniversary of employment
Requirements & Training:• State Certification is required to maintain employment
• Initial Training is provided in-house
• POST Communications Officer Course:
o Held at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) in Forsyth, GA
o 1-week program with on-campus dormitory stay required
