Step back in time this Independence Day weekend at Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park!
On Friday, July 3, enjoy a day of free ranger-led programs, living history demonstrations, and guided tours exploring the 1863 Battles of Chickamauga and Chattanooga and the sacrifices that helped shape our nation’s history.
Schedule of events:
• 10:00 a.m. – Chickamauga Battlefield Car Caravan Driving Tour
• 2:00 p.m. – Emancipation During the Civil War Program (Chickamauga Battlefield)
• 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. – Battles for Chattanooga Ranger Talks at Point Park
Best of all, entrance fees to Point Park on Lookout Mountain will be waived throughout the Independence Day holiday weekend.
