Annual Ghost Tour
“The Spirits are active…”
The Marsh House Museum will offer its Annual Ghost Tour, on Saturdays, October 24, 25, 26, 6-8 pm. It will include a Candlelight Tour of the house furnished for the Halloween Season, then a walk to the Marsh tombstones in the La Fayette Cemetery, and refreshments served by a witch around a campfire. The tour will include information on those who died in or near the house over the past 180 years, including soldiers whose bloodstains are on the original hall floor and the circumstances of the Certified Haunted Certificate which hangs over the front desk. There will be new features during the tour.
The cost of the event will be $25 per person. Children must be at least 12 years old and accompanied by a guardian. Registration will be by a message on the Marsh House FaceBook page, and prepayment through the Donate button on the website will be required. Only 30 persons will be admitted in small groups. Everyone will be asked to sign an affidavit and release of liability attesting that each guest is in good mental and physical health and is able to run (fast!).
