Mark your calendars for one of Walker County’s biggest back-to-school events of the year!
Walker County Kids’ Day returns on Thursday, July 30, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Saddle Ridge Elementary School in Rock Spring, offering families a fun-filled afternoon packed with free resources to help students get ready for the new school year.
Children and families can receive:
- Free school supplies
- Free backpacks
- Vision, hearing, and dental screenings
- Immunizations
- Free activities
- Information from community resource organizations
The event will be held at Saddle Ridge Elementary School, 9858 U.S. Highway 27, Rock Spring.
All free items will be distributed while supplies last, so families are encouraged to arrive early.
Walker County Kids’ Day is sponsored by Walker County Family Connection, Walker County Schools, and Primary Healthcare Centers.
