The NASCAR Cup Series heads under the lights Saturday night for the Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Virginia.
Drivers will take on the challenging three-quarter-mile Richmond oval for 400 laps and 300 miles of racing as the Cup Series season continues. Known for its short-track action, Richmond Raceway puts an emphasis on tire management, strategy and finding the right setup as drivers battle for position throughout the night.
With the season moving deeper into August, every race takes on added importance as drivers look to collect wins and strengthen their position in the championship picture.
The green flag for the Cook Out 400 is scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern Time Saturday, Aug. 15.
