The City of LaFayette Planning Commission is set to meet tonight at 6pm at the Old Federal Building.
A deadly ATV crash in Chattooga County early Sunday morning. Georgia State Patrol says the driver lost control on a curve along West Armuchee Road, left the roadway, and hit a guardrail. First responders say the driver died at the scene. The victim’s identity has not yet been released, and investigators are still working to determine what led to the crash.
One woman is dead and another injured after gunfire broke out during a chaotic scene in Catoosa County Saturday night. Deputies responded to a noise complaint on Indian Springs Road just before 11 p.m. and arrived to find a large crowd — and suspects firing shots as they fled. Two women were hit and taken to the hospital, where one later died. The suspects remain at large, and the investigation is ongoing.

The LaFayette Ramblers picked up a 16-13 win over county rival Ridgeland Friday night. The win improves the Ramblers to 4-2 on the year. Ridgeland falls they are now 2-4.
