Starting this week, we will begin our 2024 paving projects on Enloe Street, Circle Drive, and East Avenue. These projects are funded by LMIG (state) funding and some TSPLOST.
This initiative is part of our larger commitment to prioritizing quality infrastructure. The City of LaFayette is dedicated to milling down and resurfacing roads while simultaneously relocating utilities from beneath the roadways to ensure a lasting final product. Over the past ten years, the city has paved 53 streets, totaling 15.662 miles.
The city’s paving committee has strategically prioritized an ongoing list of roads for paving in 2024 and beyond, with projects now accelerated due to the passing of the 2023 TSPLOST.
