A northbound Hwy 27 lane was shut down earlier due to a massive accident in North LaFayette near Noble on Hwy 27 at Center Point Rd/Walker Industrial Drive just after 4 pm. Emergency vehicles arrived quickly on scene and Georgia State Patrol was out investigating.
At least 2 fatalities have been confirmed by the Walker County Sheriff Office. This is a very difficult time for the community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families involved.
