ROSSVILLE, Ga. — Walker County Animal Control is asking the public’s assistance after a dog was abandoned over the weekend in Rossville. Surveillance cameras captured the incident, and officials are urging anyone with information to come forward.
The driver of an orange Dodge Charger left the dog on Bailey Lane, off Mission Ridge Road, around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 6. The vehicle is potentially a sixth-generation model, dating from 2006 to 2010, with distinctive white racing stripes.
Walker County Animal Control has shared images of the car on Facebook and is requesting that anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has other relevant information contact them at 706-375-2100, extension 1, or by email at [email protected]. Tips can be submitted anonymously.
Authorities are seeking help to identify the person responsible and hold them accountable.
