Walker County, GA – The much-anticipated “Battle of the Badges” blood drive is officially underway at the Walker County Sheriff’s Office. Mobile donation buses arrived early this morning and are now ready to welcome donors.
The friendly competition between local first responders began just minutes ago, but there’s still time for the community to participate. No appointment is necessary — walk-ins are welcome throughout the day.
Donors are encouraged to stop by before 5 p.m. today to give blood and support this life-saving initiative. Every donation helps save lives and also counts as a vote in the contest between local law enforcement and fire personnel.
