The City of Lafayette issued a boil water advisory Monday evening due to high amounts of particles in the water source at the Lee School Road Plant.
The following areas should boil water for one minute past a rolling boil until further notice:
East of Highway 27 bypass
South of 136 East, including the Naomi community
Highway 151
Corinth area
Hillcrest community
Walnut grove area
Old Trion Highway
The city says this has been an ongoing issue, and it will not be fixed until the end of this week at the earliest.
