The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an attempted armed robbery at a convenience store earlier this month.
According to investigators, the incident occurred around 3:49 a.m. on September 12 at the Circle K located at 2707 Highway 41. A masked man entered the store armed with a handgun and confronted employees before fleeing the scene. He left in the passenger seat of what appears to be a Nissan Pathfinder with no license plate displayed.
The suspect is described as a Black male with brown dreadlocks, between 20 and 30 years old, about 6 feet tall, and weighing roughly 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing black shorts, black shoes, a white shirt with a blue undershirt, and a mask.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Lance Lopez at the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office at 706-935-2424. If the suspect is seen, authorities advise calling 911 immediately.
