CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. — The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a convenience store earlier this month.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 3:49 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, at the Circle K convenience store located at 2707 Highway 41. Investigators said a male suspect entered the store wearing a mask and armed with a handgun.
After confronting store clerks, the man quickly fled the scene, leaving in the passenger seat of a vehicle believed to be a Nissan Pathfinder with no tag displayed.
The suspect is described as a Black male with brown hair in dreadlocks, between 20 and 30 years old. He is approximately 6 feet tall, weighing around 210 pounds, and was last seen wearing black shorts, black shoes, a white shirt, and a blue undershirt.
The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information on the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to contact Detective Lance Lopez at 706-935-2424. If spotted, residents are advised to call 911 immediately.
