The Boil Water Advisory for City of LaFayette Utility customers served by the Lee School Road Water Treatment Plant remains in place. Progress is continuing on the DAF system installation at the Water Treatment Plant. City staff successfully leveled the site for the new holding tank, which is now in place. The delivery of the 46-foot-long, 22,000-gallon tank that will be part of the filtration process arrived yesterday. They were able to move forward with the plumbing installation, by completing some of the smaller plumbing sections, which were less impacted by the cold weather. While they await warmer temperatures to install the larger plumbing, every step brings them closer to project completion.
