On Tuesday, Harding Hauling had a radiator hose blow on a dump truck out on the bypass. A City of LaFayette officer quickly pulled up behind the truck with his lights on to warn others of the broken down vehicle. Due to the location on the bypass and the time of day, Harding Hauling thanked the officer for, “keeping a bad situation from getting worse,” on Facebook. The officer stayed there until they could get the truck operational again.
Even though they did not know the officer’s name, they wanted to make sure they said, “Thank you.” After Harding Hauling shared the kind post, The City of LaFayette Police Department shared the post on their page adding, “Officer McDaniel making us proud!”
