City of LaFayette Seeks Public Input for Safety Action Plan

SHARE NOW

The City of LaFayette is asking residents to share their input as it develops a comprehensive Safety Action Plan aimed at reducing serious crashes and improving roadway safety throughout the community.

The plan is being created through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads for All program, a federal initiative designed to support local efforts to make transportation networks safer for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.

City officials are encouraging residents to take a few minutes to complete an online survey and identify areas where safety improvements are most needed. Participants can also use an interactive map to pinpoint specific locations of concern.

Community feedback will play a key role in shaping the plan and helping the city secure federal funding for future safety projects.

Residents can participate in the survey and access the interactive map by visiting www.safestreetslafayette.com.

City leaders say public involvement is critical to ensuring the final plan reflects the community’s priorities and results in meaningful safety improvements across LaFayette.
