Commission Chairwoman Teems and Sheriff Department Members Attend CHAMPS Graduation

Chairwoman Angie Teems served as the guest speaker today at Stone Creek Elementary School’s C.H.A.M.P.S. graduation program. C.H.A.M.P.S. stands for Choosing Healthy Activities and Methods Promoting Safety. Teems spoke about how C.H.A.M.P.S. has provided students with a solid foundation to make hard decisions as they grow up.

Sheriff Steve Wilson and Sgt. Bruce Coker from the Walker County Sheriff’s Office also participated in the program, which included achievement awards for several students.
