CHICKAMAUGA, GA — The Elizabeth Lee Methodist Church will host a blood drive on Saturday, December 13, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in honor of the Millican family. The event, organized in partnership with Blood Assurance, aims to encourage community members to give locally and help save lives.
All donors who give blood between December 1-15 will receive a special pair of “Donating is My Favorite” socks, while supplies last. Organizers remind participants to eat a good meal, bring a photo ID, avoid energy drinks, and drink extra water before donating.
The blood drive will take place at Elizabeth Lee Methodist Church, 139 Cove Road, Chickamauga, GA 30707. Community members can sign up in advance by visiting www.bloodassurance.org/mfamily or by calling 1-800-962-0628.
