Dade County, GA — District Attorney Clayton M. Fuller issued a strong statement condemning violent protests and criticizing prosecutorial leadership in California, promising Northwest Georgia will not tolerate similar unrest.
“We will not tolerate violent protests in Northwest Georgia. Not now, not ever,” Fuller said. “We do not allow our communities to be burned, looted, or overrun by mobs while prosecutors sit on their hands and prosecute cops instead of violent protestors. That may fly in Los Angeles, Chicago, or New York, but it won’t happen here—not on my watch.”
Fuller, who serves in the Air National Guard and was deployed to the Middle East last year, highlighted his experience in domestic operations and use-of-force law. He offered his assistance to Governor Brian Kemp to intervene where he believes others have failed.
“Soros prosecutors like George Gascón and Alvin Bragg have created this lawless environment and if they won’t do their jobs, I’d be happy to raise my hand and deploy to show what real prosecutorial leadership looks like,” Fuller said. “This isn’t about politics—it’s about keeping people safe. I know the law, I know the rules of engagement, and I know how to restore order.”
He blamed a “culture of lawlessness” on prosecutors backed by financier George Soros, accusing them of prioritizing chaos over justice.
“The people of Northwest Georgia elected me to be a law-and-order leader, and I will never apologize for that. We charge crimes, we hold offenders accountable, and our communities are safer because of it,” Fuller stated.
He also expressed support for ICE and other law enforcement agencies in detaining and deporting illegal immigrants. Fuller warned those who would incite violence while “waving foreign flags” that Northwest Georgia is not California, and promised long jail terms for offenders.
