Community partners over with LaFayette, GA have been key to addressing the RSVP goal of improving “the Look” of LaFayette. Their Facade Grant program has continued for another year, and this year’s recipients have been Downtown Dough & Co. & Mitchell’s Plumbing.
The reimbursement grants offer up to $2,000 per project, per business, and can include any Facade improvement to include decorative items like signs, potted plants, awnings and even furniture. Designs must be approved by the DDA board, and businesses must be located within the DDA footprint. The DDA has several more grants available for the 2024 year, and interested parties should e-mail [email protected] to start the process.
