Early voting is now underway for the March 18th special election. The only countywide item on the ballot is a renewal request from Walker County Schools for the Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (ESPLOST).
Early voting is at the courthouse in LaFayette (103 S. Duke Street) Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., now through March 14th. Saturday voting will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on March 1st and March 8th.
Satellite locations in Rock Spring, Rossville, Chickamauga and Fairyland will be open March 8th – March 14th, with the exception of Sunday, March 9th.
The City of LaFayette, GA – Local Government also has a special election to fill the council seat in Ward 1.
