Fairyland Elementary School will remain closed today after multiple trees fell, blocking both the entrance and exit to the campus. A damaged transformer on site has also caused a power outage.
EPB crews are on-site working to clear the debris and restore electricity. School officials said classes will resume once the campus is safe and power is fully restored.
Bus routes for Chattanooga Valley Middle School and Ridgeland High School will run on their normal schedules this morning.
The district will provide updates as repairs continue.
